Carole Hyatt is a best-selling author, international motivational speaker, social behavior researcher and film producer. She has focused on the development of women into the workforce for over thirty years. Her books The Woman’s New Selling Game, Shifting Gears, When Smart People Fail and Lifetime Employability have helped millions of people throughout the world effectively identify and accomplish their career goals. Her works have been reviewed as seminal and she is frequently quoted in the media.
Her Leadership Forum is attended worldwide by top executives from diverse fields. She creates customized programs for corporations and NGOs who are interested in assessing and advancing their careers. Senior leaders benefit from the support and skill she provides through an analysis of their needs and examination of alternatives. She is an executive coach for women beyond the glass ceiling looking to reach the top.
Ms. Hyatt has been a TV producer for CBS Television, where she brought Jim Henson to television for the first time. Among other films, she was the associate producer of “Sadat’s Eternal Egypt” with Walter Cronkite. She is currently executive producing a PBS special entitled “The Hidden Faces of Saudi Women.”
She has served as a founding board member of Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School Women’s Initiative Board, and a founding member of Avon Inc.’s Women of Enterprise. Currently, she sits on the boards of Shakespeare & Co., The Center for Values Based Leadership, Brandeis University’s Research Center for Women along with scores of start-up companies. She has served on the faculties of The New School for Social Research, NYU, Marymount Manhattan College, and Hunter Graduate School.
